"Kenneth and June Olrick purchased the farm in 1946, where they raised their two children, Kenneth Jr and Ruth Ann. June Olrick was otherwise known as the “Egg Lady”. The art she created using real eggs from chicken to ostrich were absolutely stunning and known worldwide. Kenneth Jr returned to take over the farm in the early seventies while Ruth Ann went on to raise her own family and pursue her nursing degree." "Both Father and Son had a passion for rebuilding things from old cars to old tractors. Kenneth restored many vintage vehicles in his day. Two 20's era Buick Tourings as well as Model Ts. He collected parts from all over including Alaska & Germany. A favorite memory is riding in his restored Early 20' Fire Truck. A few cars remain in the family. Restored cars were sold by his wife prior to her passing, but there are so many treasures to be found by those who share a passion for vintage cars." "Kenneth Jr found his love for restoring tractors. Cars aside, his true love was the Minneapolis Moline & Trains. He played an intricate role in the building of the Rio Depot park you see today downtown Rio, WI." "As you scroll through the many pieces in this auction, you will see that there was a true love for vintage cars, trucks and tractors. The 1950 dynaflow was actually driven by our grandfather during the winter storm of 1960. Many real treasures here for someone looking for just the right part or just the right piece. We do hope that our family's legacy will help each of you continue to grow yours."
